Chelsea Tucker
Tired of hearing people say they’re “bad at maths”, Chelsea – fuelled by copious cups of tea – is on a mission to change the story. A mathematics communicator with a background in art, she brings colour, curiosity and a sense of play to a subject that is far more surprising (and far less scary) than most people realise.
Born in Yorkshire (which explains the tea addiction), Chelsea first studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, before switching lanes and completing both a degree and a masters in Mathematics. She now works as a Data Scientist, spending her days coaxing patterns out of data and her evenings sharing maths facts on her @MathsChelsea socials that itch the brain in a good way.
When she isn’t thinking about infinity, fractals or paradoxes, Chelsea can usually be found juggling far too many hobbies, buying yet another notebook to add to her collection, or picking up toy cars (toddler mum).
