Josh Otten

Josh Otten is a satirist, documentarian and YouTuber with over one million subscribers.

After winning the Norman Mailer Student Writing Award for Non-Fiction, Josh worked briefly in Journalism and Theatre. He shifted online in 2019 – to make satirical videos about History, Power, Tech and the intersection of all three. Since then he has built a large, loyal audience who come to his channel for a mix of caustic hour-long monologues and feature-length documentaries.

He is currently writing a book about The Future and the people who believe they’re building it. He is excited and terrified by what he’s finding out – in basically equal measure.
