Julie Bindel

Julie Bindel is an investigative journalist, author and feminist campaigner against male violence. Julie is the author of Feminism for Women: The Real Route to Liberation, The Pimping of Prostitution: Abolishing the sex work myth, and Straight Expectations: What does it mean to be gay today?

She is also the co-founder and co-director of The Lesbian Project, and the creator of the hit podcast ‘Three Doors Down’, which is now being developed as a TV drama.

Her most recent book LESBIANS: WHERE ARE WE NOW? was published by Swift in 2025. Part-memoir, part frontline reportage and part cultural commentary, Julie examines what defines lesbian culture, love, friendship and happiness today.
