From Monday 3rd of October to Thursday 27th of November, 16-year-old comic artist Zoom Rockman will be exhibiting his artwork as the artist in residence at Covent Garden’s Hospital Club.

Zoom has been drawing and publishing his own comic, The Zoom!, since he was 8 years old, and has published two editions a year ever since. There have been 11 issues of The Zoom! published to date.

He also writes a montly strip for The Beano, which he began doing age 12 as the youngest ever contributor to the comic, where he is now an occasional guest editor. Earlier this year one of his original artworks was auctioned at Christie’s for “The Big Draw” charity, alongside works by David Hockney and Sir Peter Blake.

Named by The Evening Standard as one of the most influential Londoners under 25, Zoom is now focusing on drawing iconic London buildings and landmarks in his cool and original style.

“Zoom Rockman: the comic kid who’s more than a marvel” Evening Standard
