Festive Giving at The Blair Partnership

17 December 2018

This year, The Blair Partnership and Pottermore teams came together to support two incredible charities, filling shoeboxes with gifts to give to people less fortunate than us on Christmas Day.

Everyone rummaged for shoeboxes at home that could be filled with gifts, such as stationary and toys for kids, books and cards with words of inspiration and well wishes, pampering items, and non-perishable food and sweets.

The gift-filled shoeboxes were sent to Noah’s Ark Hospice and Solace Women’s Aid – two charitable organisations doing essential work to bring support and care to vulnerable people.

Noah’s Ark Hospice provide clinical, practical and emotional support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in North and Central London and Hertsmere.

Solace Women’s Aid offers free advice and support to women and children in London to build safe and strong lives, and futures free from abuse and violence.

The festive giving initiative was organised and led by the wonderful Selima and Natasha.

The team filled almost seventy shoeboxes in just over an hour. Here are the finished, wrapped, gift-filled shoeboxes!
