The second TV series of the fantastic Class of 92 BBC documentary following the owners of Salford FC and their efforts with the team, airs this Thursday 25th August on BBC 1, and around the globe throughout the autumn.

An enthralling, in-depth written account of Salford’s first two years under new ownership will be published alongside the TV series on the 8th September. Class of 92: Out of Our League combines first-hand accounts from Gary, Phil, Paul, Ryan and Nicky as they try to turn round the club’s fortunes, along with a wider story of tremendous athletic and human drama. Featuring colourful characters like managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley, star players, club chairman Karen Baird, lifelong fans, and more, this is a story told with real authenticity and grit.

“We last saw Ryan Giggs, Phil and Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt celebrating on the pitch at Moor Lane as Salford City were crowned champions of First Division North. But it soon becomes clear that life in the new league is not going to be the same fairy-tale story as last season,” says the BBC.

All will be revealed in the new series and brilliant book of the Class of 92’s challenge to get Salford FC to the top.
