January has been a busy month so far at TBP, and there has been lots to celebrate and plenty of announcements for things to look forward to. Find out what we’ve been up to and read all about our exciting news below!
Books Published
On the 18th of January, the paperback edition of THE SURVIVOR by Josef Lewkowicz (with Michael Calvin) was published. This is one we’ve been looking forward to for a very long time! The hardback edition of Josef’s memoir was a Sunday Times bestseller, and we couldn’t name a more inspiring, heartbreaking, and captivating story if we tried.

Cover Reveals
The cover for Louise Jensen’s next psychological thriller, THE INTRUDERS, was revealed earlier this week! The book follows Cass and James, who agree to housesitting a manor house for free: a perfect opportunity. However, when they dig deeper, Cass and James find the place has been abandoned since a robbery left almost all the inhabitants dead nearly thirty years ago. Soon enough, things at the house begin taking a strange turn…
You can pre-order THE INTRUDERS here (publishing on the 11th of April).
Another exciting cover reveal this week has been that of DEAD MILE by Jo Furniss! This one follow Sergeant Belinda ‘Billy’ Kidd as she’s driving home, ready to resign from a career that has left her traumatised. When brake lights haemorrhage up the motorway, the cars grind to a halt. Moments later she finds a dead driver in a black sedan. The killer can’t have left the scene without being spotted by the dozens of witnesses – so he must be among them. If the traffic jam stays, they’re all in danger; if it clears, she’ll lose her suspect. The clock is ticking.
You can pre-order DEAD MILE here (publishing on the 4th of July).
Book Announcements
Speaking of Jo Furniss, DEAD MILE is the first of 4 new books to be written by Jo and published by Zaffre, the announcement of which was featured in The Bookseller this week! Senior commissioning Editor Kelly Smith, who acquired the books, said DEAD MILE is “the most relatable locked-room mystery I’ve ever read and I’m so thrilled to be steering this through to publication.”
